The Bucharest Fashion Week Diary: High-Octane Metallics, Dramatic Slits, and Spring/Summer 2027 Highlights

Iconic locations across Bucharest turned into absolute style arenas, and obviously, your girl had to pull up and serve major looks for the cameras.   

Let's talk fits, because the outfit rotation this season was elite. For one of the main days, I stepped out wearing a long glam gold dress from Iselin Dimitri that literally caught every single ray of light, layered with an effortless white jacket to keep that cool, modern contrast going.

For another major appearance, I switched the vibe to a long green dress from Vigo Fashion House featuring a bold open leg and a dramatic one-shoulder open cut. Honestly? Total internet-breaking behavior. Walking into the venues wearing these pieces felt surreal, and the street style snaps were next-level.

Beyond my own outfit diary, MBBFW SS27 (running from October 13 to 17, 2026) was a masterclass in creativity. The official schedule packed a serious punch across iconic city spots. Things kicked off with "Design in Dialogue" and fresh wellness formats, followed by breathtaking runway shows from stellar local and international designers like M. Marquise, J'amemme, Murmur, Carmen Secăreanu, and Kseniaschnaider across mid-October days (with main-stage showcases running heavily through October 14–16). We also got amazing public activations, like "The Body, Elsewhere" exhibition in the Mirror Hall of the National Museum of Art of Romania, and the ultra-aesthetic Archive Sale Pop-Up over at Cărturești Carusel.
